This is an awesome ab workout. The best part is not even realizing you are getting a great ab workout while having fun dancing. “Yes”, I feel it the next day & “yes” I get a good sweat going. Thanks for fast shipping of a great product! I am down 10 pounds in just a month doing hip hop ads and taking garcinia cambogia and I’m so excited!

The first week I did this workout, I lost 4 lbs., and I didn’t really diet at all. Consistency is the KEY! Great DVD!

I’m writing this review to share information I had trouble finding online. I’m on my third rotation of Insanity in the last 2 years (obviously not consecutively)and I really like Shaun T so I thought I’d get Hip Hop to try something different. I found a hybrid calendar online (not from BB) that I’m now using. (Btw, the first workout is HH “Fat Burning Cardio” and it was a piece of cake after doing Insanity the last 5 weeks, so I supplemented it with Insanity’s “Fast & Furious” 20 minutes workout.) When I was looking online for HH Abs info, I really wanted to know the length of time each w/o is and couldn’t find it. So for anyone else looking for the same info, here’s the breakdown:

SECRETS TO FLAT ABS (informational intro) 15 min.
    FAT BURNING CARDIO 30 min.
    AB SCULPT 25 min
    TOTAL BODY BURN 45 min.
HIPS, BUNS AND THIGHS 25 min.
    LAST MINUTE ABS 5 min.
    LAST MINUTE BUNS 5 min.

I hope that’s useful information for someone. I will throw in that I see results with Insanity like I’ve seen with no other exercise program and I think Hip Hop Abs will make Insanity workouts even better because Insanity is so focused on core strength, and that’s exactly what Hip Hop Abs works.

Also, really good advice I read somewhere else about exercise programs is: just do the best you can. I’m 50 years old and I don’t think that I’ll ever be able to keep up with the third (i.e. ‘hard’) rep of each routine in month 2 of Insanity (and I used to be able to when I was 48 but I’ve had a stroke since then). I just do as much as I can “without losing my form” as Shaun T would say, and I see results! So, if you’re out of shape and think this is going to be too hard, go into it with the attitude that you’ll just do the best you can do with what you have to work with. Besides, we’re doing it at home so who cares (other than ourselves) if we keep up or not?

And, Hip Hop Abs really is kind of fun to do. The choreography isn’t that tough to learn (if you’ve done Zumba you can pick this up in a heartbeat)and it gets kind of catchy after you get the hang of it. Although I put a mirror in my exercise room to check my form, and I am SO grateful that no one else ever sees me exercise – especially when I try the dance moves.
